BlogHer recently releases a survey that says more than 36.2 million women are actively participating in the blogosphere. 15.1 million women are publishing and about 21.1 million are reading and commentings. Click here if you would like to read the full report.
What I found funny was how women answered the question of what they would be willing to give up in order to keep reading their favorite blog or writing.
- 55% would give up alcohol

- 50% would give up their PDAs
- 42% would give up their i-Pod
- 43% would give up reading the newspaper or magazines
- 20% would give up chocolate
Hmmm.. do I smell a new diet plan coming on??
So, let's see if people who read my blog follow this same trend. Given a real estate agent's reliance on the need to be in constant communication, I think the results will be different. But maybe I am wrong, I know my sweet tooth is just as big as the next person's!

I am not sure what I would do with out chocolate. Some days it is the best part of the day. But it has to be good. I do not like to waste calories if it is inferior.
Not sure what all the dilemna is about, us guys eat chocolate while blogging;-)
Sara, I would definitely find 1-3 easy to give up, as for 4 & 5...books and chocolate are non-negotiables. :)
I'm with Lola..leave the chocolate and my mags alone! I must admit I haven't had chocolate for 6 days and counting! :) I can't because I did!
Sara, The chocolate leaves my keyboard sticky. But, I can blog, read a post, answer a phone, text messgage and email all at the same time.... Well, maybe I monotask all at the same time. AJ
Since my local newspaper usually has nothing but junk in it, you can gladly have it!
Sara, I too would hold on to my chocolate for dear life! Blogs may be enjoyable, educational, and entertaining, but chocolate trumps all in my world.
